Rabbi Eliezer Gurkow:
Rabbi Lazer is leaving on Wednesday July 6, 2016 and returning Monday,
July 11, 2016 mid morning. Rabbi Lazer is attending a Conference in New
York and has Speaking Engagments in Cleveland and Atlanta.
"Our 50th Anniversary Celebration - September 18, 2016":
Congregation Beth Tefilah will be celebrating our 50th anniversary in
2016 by a hosting a music concert titled "The World of Jewish Music".
The concert will consist of classical music by Jewish composers in
addition to Klezmer music. The concert will be held at the Wolf
Performance Hall on September 18th, 2016 at 3:00 pm.. Our feature
performer will be classical pianist, Shoshana Telner
(http://www.shoshanatelner.com). Also performing will be
violinist, Henry Krichker and cellist Lac Hong Phi.
We hope to raise funds to help continue the growth of Beth Tefilah
through this celebratory fundraising event. Please consider contributing
to one of the following categories:

Patron........$ 500 .includes 2 tickets to concert
Sponsor.......$ 250
Friend........$ 150
Supporter.....$ 75
Contributors to these donation categories will be listed in the
anniversary program book and a tax receipt issued (less the value of the
ticket).

Building Maintenance Fund:
In the letter mailed out February 10, 2016 it was mentioned that the
Board had approved to request from each member family a $100
contribution to the Building Maintenance Fund in February, 2016 to cover
the increasing expenses on the Rabbi’s House, the rental house and the
synagogue. In order for our Synagogue to continue to maintain the same
level of programming, we must have solid buildings!
If you haven't already done so, please send in your contribution to the
Building Maintenance Fund as soon as possible.

Talmud Class:
Rabbi Lazer teaches Talmud every Sunday morning after services at
approximately 9:45 am. Current study is chapter five Ezehu Neshech .

Time for Torah Hebrew School will begin it's new academic year on Sunday
September 11, 2016. If you would like to learn more about our Time for
Torah Hebrew School or to register your child please contact Rabbi Lazer
