Kiddush:

Rabbi Lazer:
Will be in Ottawa from Thursday evening - October 29 to Sunday morning -
November 1.   Allan Huddes, a student from Western, has graciously
agreed to read from the Torah in Rabbi Lazer's absence.


Talmud Class - Cancelled for November 2, 2009:
Rabbi Lazer teaches Talmud every Sunday morning after services at
approximately 9:45am.  Current studies is Hamafkid: Baba Metzia
Chapter 3.


Parsha Class - Every Wednesday:
Rabbi Lazer will teach a Parsha Class at Congregation Beth Tefilah
every Wednesday at 7:30pm commencing October 14, 2009.


Torah High - Cancelled for October 29, 2009:
The Torah High will be held every Thursday throughout the school year
at Rabbi Gurkow's home, 543 Huron St. from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.


JLI Semester:
The Fall Semester Course, Soul Quest, The Journey Through Life, Death,
and Beyond, is  offered at Beth Tefilah on six consecutive Tuesdays,
commencing on November 3, 2009.  Please register for the course by going
to www.bethtefilah.org and click on the link for the Jewish Learning
Institute.  The fee for this semester is $89.00.
